Dean David Ellwood Speaks at HKS Reception in Shanghai

Dean David Ellwood was the main speaker at the HKS Reception held at the Shangri-la Pudong on March 28, 2008. He spoke to HKS Alumni who attended the HAA Global Series in Shanghai. Dean Ellwood introduced the new HKS branding which was formerly KSG. He presented the new HKS website that had the "Ask What You Can Do" message. Dean Ellwood emphasized the important role of the alumni in promoting the school to potential new students, in networking for career advancement and in raising funds to help financially challenged students coming from government service. Presently, about 45% of the HKS students are foreigners. Robert Xie, President of the HKS China Alumni Association gave the welcome remarks. Chato Calderon, Vice Chair of the HKS Alumni Association introduced Dean Ellwood to about 70 HKS alumni from all over the world.
