Angelo Reyes Elected New President of HKS and HAA Philippines

Angelo Reyes, MPA 90 assumed the Presidency of Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Foundation Philippines from Rosario "Chato' Calderon MPA'88 in January 2007. Angelo Reyes was also elected the President of the Harvard Club of the Philippines (Harvard Alumni Association) effective June 2008. The Harvard Club is composed of alumni from the Harvard College; and the Harvard Schools from Kennedy, Business, Law, Medical, Public Health, Education and Arts and Sciences in the country. Angelo Reyes has held several Cabinet Secretary positions. He is currently Secretary of the Department of Energy.

The other officers are Anthony Abad, MPA '97 and Teresita Capellan, EDM '88 who are the concurrent Vice Presidents. Karl Miranda MPA'98 and Arnel Casanova, MPA '07 are Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively. Joaquin Lagonera, MPA '91 and Alejandro Flores, MPA '89 hold Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer positions, respectively. Rosalina Magat, MPA'88 remains the Public Relations Officer.
